You must have competed in at least 4 USPSA, IDPA or SASS type matches and have good handgun skills already. This is NOT a beginner's firearms safety class.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Hat, eye and ear protection (for all spectators too), a reliable gun, holster, belt, 3+ magazine pouches, at least four working magazines,
and 800 rounds of loaded ammunition. Ammunition can be shipped to the hotel up to 5 days prior to the camp.
Appropriate clothing for the possible inclement Parma, ID weather and a good pair of athletic shoes as you will be both standing and running.
No offensive clothing or logos will be allowed. NOTE: Please wear modest clothing, nothing too tight, or too short!
The water at the range is safe to drink but not very tasty. I highly recommend that you bring some bottled water to the range.
CAMP COST PER JUNIOR
Tuition for the 3 day camp is $300. The tuition includes the hotel stay for three nights.
Transportation to the Ontario, Oregon, accommodations, and ammunition shipping cost will be up to you. Be sure to check with your airlines
as many are putting ammunition weight restrictions on baggage.
Lunch will be catered and will cost $8.00 per day. You can pack a lunch if you prefer. Dinner and breakfast are your responsibility.
(Hotel will provide breakfast.)
Any additional cost for sightseeing, car rental, visiting around the Boise, ID area, etc. will also be your responsibility.
If you are attending the 3 gun camp also, you will need to cover the cost of the motel for the day between.
*Some scholarships are available for those who would otherwise not be able to attend.
Please submit a written request at time of registration in lieu of payment. You will be
notified if a full or partial scholarship is awarded. In the case of a partial scholarship, or not being awarded, funds will be then due.*
Our parent instructor this year has not yet been identified, but we will let you know as soon as we find the perfect person.
They will be giving two free ½ day classes on Friday for any interested parents. Parents need to bring their own gear they
would normally bring to a match and 300-400 rounds of ammo. Again, this is FREE! Our parent instructor will also be the speaker
for the juniors on Friday night.
We are expecting all juniors to be exemplary citizens along with their parents or guardians. However, if any one of the
Team Leaders has any issues with any junior that is not immediately resolved, the shooter and escorts will be asked to leave immediately, with no refund.
